Music creates the atmosphere for special events. Finding an excellent pianist is as important you can trust to capture the moment and make it memorable. What makes an event special is the unique part of you that it represents.
Personalized Music
To personalize your special event, I consult with you to choose music that fits the style and mood of the occasion. Whether you are considering music for a formal event such as a wedding or background music for a holiday party or reception, I have a full repertoire of classical, jazz, and popular tunes, and I am happy to play any specific music requests as well. I travel within the greater Seattle area.

Weddings are one of the most requested events for live music, and the elegant music I bring to these events is unforgettable and completely customized for you.
What are you available to play?
I play both solo piano and ensemble music. If you wish me to play with another musician (vocal or instrumental), I am happy to perform with them. For the additional coordination and rehearsal time, I charge an extra $25 fee to play special music with another musician.
What would you wear?
For your wedding, I would wear a black dress or black slacks/blouse as formal musician attire. I am completely professional and do my best to comfortably blend in and not draw attention to myself.
What is your payment/cancellation policy?
I request a $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve the date for your wedding. The payment balance may be paid by check to me either before or at the rehearsal.
What are your fees?
The cost for weddings typically ranges from $200-$350, depending on location and the time involvement. I offer a free music consultation for selecting exactly the style and songs you would like at your wedding. I have many traditional and non-traditional options to suggest, and am also open to any special requests.
My basic wedding package is $200 for your ceremony, which includes the rehearsal time, prelude and postlude music, and also special solo music.
The deluxe wedding package is $300, which includes everything in the basic package, plus 1 ½ hours of elegant reception music. I charge an additional $50/extra hour. If you have special budget needs, please ask me for further options on how to make this do-able for you.
How far do you travel for events?
I travel up to an hour radius from my home in Redmond. My travel rate for anything further is an additional $40/hour, rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour.
